The Rosso from the Lazio winery Le Coste constitutes a territorial and pleasantly rustic label, a perfect testimony to the artisanal spirit of this winemaking reality. Le Coste is located within the municipality of Gradoli, among hills of volcanic origin overlooking the majestic Lake Bolsena. The project was born from Gianmarco Antonuzzi's passion for the world of wine, which led him to leave chaotic Rome to embark on an enological journey through France, collecting a series of experiences with important vigneron artisans from Languedoc, Burgundy, and Alsace. In the latter wine region, he met Clémentin Bouveron, who after studying viticulture and oenology decided to join him in this new adventure.

Le Coste Rosso is made from a blend of different black grape varieties, grown according to the principles of organic farming on volcanic soils. After the harvest, carried out by hand, the bunches are transferred to the winery where alcoholic fermentation takes place in French oak and chestnut barrels, thanks to the exclusive aid of indigenous yeasts. The fermentation process is associated with about 3 weeks of maceration on the skins.

To the eye, Le Coste Rosso shows an intense and impenetrable ruby red color. The nose is a triumph of aromas, with hints of ripe dark fruit, forest berries, and sweet spices meeting earthy and underbrush sensations. The taste, straightforward and juicy, is characterized by vibrant freshness and incisive mineral notes, as well as the pleasant and delicate rusticity that defines its character. An artisanal red wine perfect to drink immediately, also endowed with excellent longevity.
